We used to love Panera as a good option for a quick, reasonably healthy meal. But management must have changed at the Leland location. It’s a customer service mess. We ordered takeout recently and were charged for everything we ordered. We failed to check the order until we got home and found we were missing 2 items. We called to ask for a partial credit - only for what we didn’t receive. Instead the “manager” offered to send us a card worth $15 that we could use the next time. She sent it. We went the next week, used the card, got a $9 discount - not $15, checked the order in the car. It still wasn’t quite right (no extra avocado - but okay - we got a discount.). I know everyone is having a hard time finding people to fill jobs - bonus if those people care about their jobs. I can deal with a longer wait time when everyone is stretched thin, but the total lack of concern over getting it right or telling the truth is my hard red line. There are other options where people care deeply about their product or service. The Leland Panera Bread is not one of those places.

Was having issues with a gift card, when associates couldn't help , a manager was brought up front and had a nasty attitude because she was called up front. While going to find a seat and going to walk out the door,. manager could be heard bad mouthing us. Only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the other employees were pleasant
