Michael's is a good place to look...another place to look is the other large craft store..the one that is closed on Sundays.

Yes, they have red DMC embroidery thread. They don't sell spools of red thread for sewing machines. If you need sewing machine thread, you'll have to go to Hobby Lobby or to Joann fabric. I hope this helps you.
