Our first experience with them was when I called to ask about making an appointment on the weekend. Without even seeing our pet or knowing his age, the receptionist asked if we were wanting to assess his quality of life or have him treated… not the best first impression. Yet we went. Upon arrival, we were quickly placed in a room and a tech came in to take our pets vitals and ask why we brought him in. We explained his symptoms and the doctor came in to see him. They presented their initial plan of treatment (with no testing done only listening to my description of what we had seen at home) of 1200. We asked if we could start with testing or with fluids or medicine to get the vomiting to stop. It was a back and forth scenario and felt more like a car dealership than the health of our animal who was obviously very sick. In the end, our pet was given pain medicine without any lab work… (which according to our second opinion never should have happened and was a more aggressive medicine than he should have received) and went home. Our paperwork says we “denied” the blood work but we know that it was no longer being offered because we didn’t want him to spend the night there and wanted him to receive more long term or preventative care with our primary vet. Our animal died the next day and our family is completely heartbroken. While we can’t blame this office for his passing, we wish we would have been more demanding with blood work or imaging to determine the root of the problem instead of just assuming he had something based on my description. Perhaps if we had tried a different animal hospital ours would still be with us…

Our kitty had been nauseous and vomiting for over a day, with his health history I called and was given an appointment soon after. From arrival to leaving the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and very sweet to my boy. He was also very comfortable with them which tells a lot. He was diagnosed with a UTI and taken care of. He is already feeling so much better not even 12 hours later. We will definitely come back if needed in the future. Prices were also very reasonable and everything is discussed up front by the doctor.

Cheaper to take to your regular vet
Melissa She really needs to be examined by a vet asap. She may have another puppy inside, she could have a uterine infection, or be developing hypocalciumia. All of these,issues can be life theatening and need a vet to treat.
