Parking at the Lewis and Clark Visitor Center. One of the trails to the bridge actually starts there. It’s also the Midwest regional office of the National Park Service. A lot of information about NPS sites in the region with maps of each site. Probably 50+ maps of those sites. If you’re a NPS Passport Stamp collector, there are 2 at the information desk. One for Lewis and Clark/Omaha and a bonus stamp for NPS Mid West Regional Office/Omaha. Walking the bridge at night is a must do!
You Bet!! They must be on a leash and you are expected to clean up after them, but it's a great place to walk them!
Is there a question?
You bet! They even have electric bikes you can rent! Download the app, $12 for 1 hours ride and then take it to the return bike racks. Only thing is you might want to set a timer for your ride, because any additional hour will cost you $5
City Ordinance is all parks close at 11 which assuming means bridge and Gene Leahy Mall. I assume the cops don't really roll through after midnight so you can take a chance after hours but no one should be really approaching you till 11p or maybe a half hour before depending on security.
The red light is special but it goes white and I think blue but didnt see that.
24/7 in the summer months. Just push the little button, and the water will come out anytime for a few minutes at a shot.
There isn't a picnic area, but there are no signs posted against it.
Yes they are
I believe the sign says 11pm
Not yet, they are building something over there, not sure exactly if only for events, or what
