Beach is clean, quiet and the water was great.

1 star because of rude homeless people. Had a really nice time with friends, the pavilions are nice, the park is great for kids. Good beach access, showers, and beach. What ruined it for us was the homeless man who was shouting and cussing at us (we had a two year old who was crying). Wife and others also later told me they felt unsafe with some of the homeless people around. If you can't feel safe why would you go somewhere? If you're going to get shouted at why go there?

It's approximately 1 hr. Away there are no tolls on any of the bridges. I hope that's helpful
No, but people do bring them. The lifeguards will tell you keep them on a leash at your own risk. That is until someone call the police on you. Best play dumb and ask for forgiveness.

Yes there is one medium size two stall restrooms with a food truck next to it. Great park with a playground and lots of Pavillions
