A photo ID
How much does it cost for a birth certificate
I need to get a birth certificate for my grandson ,i am his grandfather and we do have legal custody of my grandson ?
I'm running into a problem when I try to pay after I have filled out all my information correctly when I try to pay it is saying the card is not valid ! I called my credit card company and they tell me it should go through ? Has anyone run into this problem?? Very Frustrating !! Anyone please help if you have had this problem ?
Yep. Same problem
Same thing happened to me
The fee should be a flat 17$, not sure where the 82$ is coming from. Your best bet would be to ensure your on the correct site, otherwise you can call the department of vital records. They should be able to provide you the right information, from my knowledge you can verify your identity and have a copy of your birth certificate sent by mail.
Yes, you can walk in and get one for yourself or child. I am also not sure about your husband's. Make sure you bring change for the parking meter, a valid photo ID, and the $17 they charge you for each certificate. I used a debit card to pay there.
If you're married you can take your marriage license and your spouse will have to go with with their ID and you can fill out the paperwork and get it that way that's how I got my husband's for him because we were in the same situation other than that maybe a social security card
I got it in almost 3 weeks it was requested by the funeral home.
You can park right in front of Vital records. Make sure you go through the correct door. You want to look above on the canopy for the vital records entrance.
Yes it is $17.00 for a certified copy of a Birth Certificate
No not that I am aware of, although you may want to call down there and ask someone
Call that states Vital Statistics
Parents, spouse, the informant (the person who gave the funeral home the deceased persons information and will be listed on the death certificate) anybody who has paperwork addressed to them specifically, showing they need a copy of the certificate (to remove them from a lease or things like that). Children of the deceased can also get a copy if they show their birth certificate. It is $16 per copy. Hope that helps!
The easiest way to get a copy would be through the funeral home. Otherwise, it can be requested by spouse, parents, informant. It is $16.
You can go to office and have within half an hour cost $17 and need photo ID, if you don't have ID, a rental agreement and a letter postmarked in the last 30 days works as well... Or you can send application with $17 money order or check with a photocopy of your ID
The only reason would be that they were not born in Nebraska.
Yes
You would have to call them
You will have to call them. I know the application has a lot of questions that not everyone would know but I would call and aak.
Believe that you need something that has come thru the mail. Any Bill's would be sufficient.
You would have to contact that state and city. They should be able to tell you how to do it.
No
Closed on the 4th. Should be open regular hours on the 3rd.
About $10.00 go to the Golds building 1st floor. Vital records. It's a 10th & O Lincoln.
If you mean you want to know if a pending order for an official copy has been processed, you can call Nebraska Vital Records. If you mean you want to know when a particular official copy was issued, I am not sure they keep records like that, but if they do, calling the office is still the way to find out. If you mean you want to know when someone was born, you'll have to find out from someone else who knows; Nebraska Vital Records wants a date of birth to look records up.
You can; there is an online form you can fill out, and you also need to email a picture of your government-issued ID to the Office of Vital Statistics. Just Google "Nebraska Birth Certificates" and look for the .gov links, you shouldn't have too much trouble. Be warned though, it can take a lot longer to get one that way. It could take weeks. If you need it very soon and have the resources to travel to Nebraska it will be a lot quicker.
Call and ask them. They would know more.
10 to 15 mins
Can she go get a replacement ID?
They give immediately
It only took me 15 minutes over lunch.
