Everything about B&B is great. The beer, the atmosphere, the staff. We came here before we had kids and now bring our kids and they love it. It's our favorite place to hang out in Indy!

Jan 2nd 2019 730ish pm Stopped in for food and a drink, never been here before. Ordered a Return of the King. (Fancy grilled cheese). It was served grilled on only one side (not even buttered on the other) and was room temp. I went to the kitchen ( that's the size of a closet really), and asked if they only grill one side. Was told "normally, but that's just the way that one came out.. the top of the grills not really working". It came out the 2nd time almost as undercooked as the first. You deserve the 1 star. EDIT: went back in September 2021. Kitchen equipment has been upgraded and the issues resolved. Much friendlier staff here now. Ive upgraded you to 3 stars EDIT: Have been back few times since Sept 2021. The kitchen equipment is newer, and the staff much better. They now deserve 5 stars.

Very enjoyable place to have a tasty drink and snack, play games and peruse a great collection of fun literary paraphenalia and used books. At the time we were there, they also had a bingo game going on in the family room. Sounded like the players were having a lot of fun!

Yes you can! They have a family area up front with tables and games. Their food selection is more bar centered food, but I've seen many children there
Our original location (Mothership) is not pet friendly - Indiana Health Dept doesn’t allow pets inside where food is served and we don’t have a patio - however, every B&B that DOES have a patio is dog friendly!!
Open 11am untill 10pm, or later if the beer is flowing well. Regular buisness hours.
You can just walk in and listen to music, read a book, play games, or just work on your laptop.
Their logo says "Read. Drink. Converse." So, everything you said you want to do is encouraged there! Plus, if the party gets going you can play any of the board games they have available. It's a great time every time I go there!
They also serve sours, meads and ciders, if they're willing to venture into those realms.
