Sweet little nature preserve, easy 30-40 minute stroll with some nice views and helpful wildlife panels along the way. Looks like a good place to bring a picnic, especially at the shelter with the creek view.

This hidden gem needs to remain untouched by development. It's about a mile around. The island is a good history of what the area looks like without all the changes brought by construction. A good walk and good place to see the natural beauty of SC.

They have picnic areas however i personally feel the boards would not be a good option. Not to mention there's so much to explore there, don't really need them....
To build something
I dont recommend it. My teacup poodle was eaten by an alligator three ago.
No. In fact, when the tide comes in, you may end up walking through some water in places.
There is a designated parking lot at Heritage and 53rd. Leaving the parking lot, turn left and keep walking until you come to the reserve.
No. They don't even want you to pick flowers.
