Great trails! Compared with some of the other trail systems, Warrior has longer trails even though there may not be as many. There are a lot of elevation changes and some spectacular views on a clear day. The biggest drawback to Warrior is the location of the trailhead and accessing it from points north is done by a very tight, winding road with some steep and sharp turns, not ideal for longer trailers.

Beautiful trail here, probably my favorite one that I've visited. (Been to Pocahontas(3/5), Indian Ridge(5/5), and Pinnacle Creek(4/5) so far.) I go out for joy riding and just to soak up the nature and boy can you do that here. I don't go for the black trails but I do hit the blue ones. So if you're an extreme rider who comes out for the really difficult ones don't take my review in consideration. However if you like to ride through the trees on fairly flat terrain with some mud holes and hills to climb this is the trail for you!

The Warrior Trail is one of the best in the whole system. The trails aren't as technical as some of the other systems but they are a lot of fun and the scenery is great. My only compaint is that the trail head is across town (about a mile) from where the trail begins and there is no signage directing you.

Absolutely fantastic scenery and trails. The trailhead was a little difficult to get to pulling a large trailer...and if your GPS tells you to get off Rt 16 and take Canebrake Mountain Rd DON'T do it! Way more dangerous than riding any trail! Stay on 16 the whole way into War.
