Clean, pleasant staff, decent free weights and weight lifting equipment, lots of cardio machines too. Locker rooms are quite small but clean. I wish the Rec Center would stay open later on Saturdays (closes at 1 pm on Saturdays bc of CoVid hours) and begin to open on Sundays for abbreviated hours (never been open of Sundays!). The price is right and good value.

I went here to use the workout equipment while visiting family for a few weeks. The staff are all very nice and they have decent equipment -- free weights, benches, cardio, etc.

A very nice workout place with decent equipment (aerobic machines, weights, , condition building machines), never too busy to have to wait with a highly attractive price...$5/ month, $50/ year, and very pleasant staff.

The Clay County Recreation Center is a wonderful resource for those who want to walk outdoors, exercise indoors with machines or on the basketball court, play pickle ball, handball, baseball, soccer, volleyball, have a picnic or let their children play on the well equipped playground. I even saw someone recently who used one of the fields to practice taking off in his motorized hang glider. I teach a line dancing class on Fridays on the basketball court & really appreciate being able to spread out due to COVID. I was having an issue w/WiFi trying to connect to YouTube to play our dance tunes. Thanks to Jerry & Julie & the great staff at the Clay County Rec. Center, the WiFi has been upgraded & I no longer have to bring in cd’s & an old player. Hurray! The people who come to the rec center are all friendly & we share a bond about fitness.
