Extremely well run and family oriented. One of the nicest private lakes on the hill. Very desirable neighborhood.

We rented an amazing cabin off Airbnb called Bear Necessities! It is part of Lakemont which has a private lake, beach and clubhouse and with the tags that are available, you can borrow items from the clubhouse to play things like shuffleboard, table tennis and use their paddle boats. We typically take a picnic and set up at the beach for the day (they also have a sand volleyball court), and in the afternoons, we visit their cute, little snack shack for treats like a popsicle or ice cream. The cabin is fully renovated so has all the amenities and luxuries of home, but is right across the street from the lake and about a 5 minute walk to the clubhouse and beach. We went with another family, the place has plenty of room, and the kids had a great time! We will probably make this at least an annual trip, although we may need to check it out for winter too since the cabin is not far from Bear Valley ski resort.

It is catch and release. There's bluegill, bass, and catfish.

Is this a catch and release lake?

Actually Eric fishing is allowed. Catch and release only. No fishing allowed in the swim area though.
