Like with most IT groups they know their computers, but not their people/clients or detail enough records of what their clients use and what they use them for. I may just be spoiled from having an in-house IT person that kept track of the settings of each user, so when an update came around, they would know what default settings to change and carry over our toolbars and such, so updates were less of a hassle. Despite that however, they always manage to keep us up and running. They have a tough job and they do it well enough to get you through. Oh, there is the 4/4:30pm back-ups; they suck when you are rushing to get work out by 5pm because the computer is way slower when there is something running in the background.
