I've been going to Dr. Marc Acista for over 30 years for Family Medicine. I feel like we've developed a good, professional relationship and I can talk with him easily. Most of all, he listens! He gives you all the time you may need to explain your problem&what's going on. Today, if you can get a Dr. to listen for 5 minutes, you're fortunate. I recommend him highly as well as Cathy who works his front desk.

Dr Acosta increased my thyroid medicine to triple the prescribed amount for my hypothyroidism. I asked him what he could give me to lose weight. That is what he did..doubled my thyroid medicine.!!!My regular dr finally had an appointment available a week or two later. He went over my meds and I told him the amount of Synthroid Dr Acosta prescribed for me. He was so upset and told me I could have gone into cardiac arrest and increasing thyroid meds is NOT for weight loss.He also missed my mother's cancer diagnosis and she died 6 months later. DO NOT GO TO THIS QUACK or you could wind up in your grave sooner than you hope to.
