My stepson was sent there from Hartford Hospital acute rehab. Which did a wonderful job on him to get the use of his leg back and was working on his hand. He was put in a decent room. After get him unpacked we were told they were moving him because he did not have his vaccines for Covid. He was move to a small room that the rugs and chairs were all stained, with a roommate that test positive for the flu. He was not allowed to leave the room even to go outdoors because he did not have his shots, even though he tested neg. The rehab was very limited after being there for 3 days for his hand only. He was not allow to walk the hallway for any exercise for his leg. He asked for help washing up but was told they were to busy taking care of the residents. He was taken out of there after six days.

The nursing staff is very committed and compassionate. The facility has been around a long time and they know what they are doing. Solid rehabilitation. They are 4 stars out of 5 based on Medicare and Medicaid’s ranking system.

Please for the sake of your loved ones, DO NOT let them go here. My mother is currently here and it's the most repulsive, dirty and full of incompetent staff I've ever seen at one of these facilities. Most of the CNA's are extremely rude, the rooms are filthy and smelly, they don't clean a single thing. All they do is change the bedsheets and the beds are in terrible shape. There is no shower in the bathroom. So how often do people get cleaned? It has been extremely hot out and the room feels like there is no A/C on whatsoever. It's really not a good place. There is no warm, fuzzy feeling here at all. The owner of this place should be absolutely ashamed at the outdated and filthy building. They really need to get it together over here and they need to hire people who aren't rude to the patients or family members. If you don't like your job and you don't have compassion or care about others, quit!!! Nobody is making you stay there and it's not others fault!

My mother spent time as a resident at this facility. She was treated with utmost respect and dignity. I was very pleased with the care she received. The nurses and CNA's were very compassionate.
