As a relocation consultant working with numerous seniors, I find Brightview Shelton to be an excellent choice for seniors that want to live within a vibrant, caring and fulfilling community. The facilities are very well maintained and the staff is very attentive to the residents. Care is given in a compassionate and understanding environment and every need is met with a high level of professionalism by the staff.

I moved to Brightview/Shelton, CT 2 1/2 years ago from Santa Rosa,CA mainly for two reasons. To be near my family in Stratford CT and for safety. I am only 82 years young and in good health, however I had concerns for my safety living alone in my 3 bedroom house. It was getting difficult to get out of the bathtub and I did not have safety bars. In 2017 I had to evacuate my home due to forrest fires and spend 2 days in a shelter. It was time to move. At Brightview I feel very safe due to safety bars in the shower, check in button, and staff close by in case of an emergency. Other perks are Apt cleaning every 2 weeks,2 meals a day(I never liked to cook ),wonderful entertainment, variety of activities,.new friends, and a caring staff. I am a happy camper..well I actually have a lovely one bedroom apt with a balcony and great views for watching birds and wildlife. I am a photographer and artist. Lots to do here

As an employee here at Brightview, my time here has been nothing short of incredible. I’ve worked for multiple departments and each one of them go above and beyond to help, listen, and care for our wonderful residents. As soon as you step into the community you are greeted with a warm welcome from everyone. Vibrancy runs throughout the entire community, and everyone truly feels like family here. I have worked for Brightview for over a year and I have made some of the best memories with our residents and staff. I feel very blessed & I’m very proud to be apart of the Brightview Shelton Community!
