I'm very disappointed with my experience there. I'm white. Our person barley spoke English and I kind of feel like if I was black or Hispanic...it would have gone a lot smoother for us. Definitely a racist organization. Very disappointed.

UniteCT may be able to help. There are also others such as " basic needs" which does more than just rental help- the issue is that many have certain requirements such as mental health/substance abuse / low income- etc... It can be very hard to get anywhere. I've spent Days and hours trying to get help just to be re- routed back to where i began- or end up with "dead" numbers and go thru the entire waiting game again. I'm sorry- I wish I could provide better help! I'm seeking assistance and the system as is, is impossible.
