Comments BY : JAMIE CIRONE BELOW... A BIG DITTO HERE... I have been to clinics with 6X as many clients handle recovery and treating people with dignity at EVERY STEP. INCLUDING NOT ALLOWING NURSES TO DO SIDEWORK ON CLIENTS TIME. THE ONLY THING NURSES SHOULD BE DOING AT MEDICATION WINDOWS IS MEDICATING. THATS IT. EVERYTHING ELSE MEDICAL, MESSAGES, WHATEVER SHOULD BE DISCUSSED IN PRIVATE, IN BACK, AND SHOULD NEVER IMPEDE THE NEXT CLIENT IN LINES WAITING TIME. BEFORE COVID, EVEN DURING COVID A FEW TIMES, THE LINES ARE SO LONG, THEY GO FROM THE FRONT DOOR TO THE ROAD. ITS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. AND ITS ALWAYS SOMETHING. "COMPUTERS ARE DOWN" (I. E., NOBODY GOT TO WORK ON TIME THIS MORNING TO START THE PROCESS, SO WERE DOING IT NOW WHILE THE WORKER RUSH IS IN FULL SWING, AND PEOPLE HAVE PLACES TO BE. THEY ACT LIKE WE DONT HAVE LIVES AND BECAUSE WE ARE ON METHADONE, WE HAVE NOTHING BETTER TO DO BUT STAND OUT FRONT FOR 45 MINS, NOT EVEN MENTIONING THE POOR PEOPLE WHO ARE AT THE MERCY OF MEDCABS...... IM SWITCHING AS SOON AS I POSSIBLY CAN. PERIOD. IVE HAD ENOUGH.

I have been opioid free for 3 years now, thanks to the program at hcrc. Their liberal medication program (a.k.a. along with benzodiazapienes) has worked well in curbing my anxiety and cravings, and If I had to pick an hour every day at AA or doing this program, I would do methadone all day every day. I could not stay sober without it, and to those people who say it isn't sobriety, ill take whatever it is over using every day of the week.

You call and request an admission appointment most times it's fast some times there's a short wait-list but you have your intake done and then you'll have your physical with the doctor and receive your 1st dose. Hopefully that answers your question. 😊
Root clinic guest doses with less red tape. 🙂
Intake first, then physical with doctor and first dose. Done in two appointments.
Yes they do but you must have a prescription.
The social distancing crisis is now under control and has been for many months, the staff and facility are doing the best they can to keep clients safe and the environment clean while following all federal and state regulations.
