Very good instructor and explains the process very well. Definitely knows a loud about security and helps you. I just didn’t see a no refund policy posted at all. I paid $175 for online class and end up attending a in class which cost $100 and he wouldn’t give me a credit toward another class, refund at all. So I lost my $75. People please ask and make sure you don’t switch from online and take a in class because won’t get your money back. Besides that he is great!

Hello my name is Mark Eastman, I had started my class on May 25-2022 for security guard card. I love the classroom environment and Louis the instructor. He will give you the knowledge and tools to pass the guard card test. I have read some people post on not like his vague language and talking about his past stories. Well for me I had enjoyed hearing about his career life journey and for his language it didn't bother me nor did stop me from passing his class. Everyone needs to stop being so emotional, everyone has his own belief and political views just get over it. I encourage anyone who wants to get a security card to take LJB training.

Yes you do.Just stay awake and pay attention.Take notes if you have to but you can not use them for the exam. The instructor is awesome. You will review for test at the end . Good Luck
The training class is a 1 day course for $100, and the instructor here is fun & engaging. There are some other fees paid to the state when you file to receive your guard card, for fingerprinting and such but it's not a lot. You need the training certificate you get here to submit your 08-73 application with the State of CT.
If you want to become a security officer in Connecticut you need a license. In order to get that license you have to take an 8-hour training course for certification. Cost of the class is between $100 (in person) and $175 (Online Zoom) for tuition (Also bring $25 cash to class for fingerprints and $10 for photo) and the licensing process costs $188.25 for the which includes background checks and the license itself, when you go to the State Police in Middletown Connecticut to apply for your license which will be good for five years and you could begin working in Connecticut as soon as you have applied for your license.
