The combination burrito I got was as big around as a half dollar and the beef taco I purchased had about a tablespoon of meat on it. Totaling 6.37. I think their portions need to be beefed up. Taco Casa puts them to shame when it comes to portions.

I got the big freaky chicken quesadilla this one this day was thrown together very sloppy and not worth the price paid. The cook did a very bad job on food presentation. I didn't know until I got it home, that will make me check my food before leaving the drive thru more.

Food was great, but I waited about 15-20 minutes for my to-go order inside the empty dining room. I assume they prioritize the drive thru since I watched them fill several orders for the window. It wasn't until I asked for an ETA or a refund that they started on my order which included 2 items. They didn't even respond to my inquiry! I blame this on poor management, but it might explain why so many other locations have closed. I hope they make it because I've been going to this location for 30 years since my parents took us there when we were kids, back when they had a huge fireplace, and a fresh salsa bar. 😕

I haven't eaten at a Taco Bueno since I was a kid but I was in town visiting my dad for the holidays and he bought us lunch here. Let me tell you, that first bite of my burrito brought back so many childhood memories! I instantly remembered the taste and it was just as good today as it was back then. I would definitely recommend trying Taco Bueno if you've never eaten there.
