I stop by their outlet store when I'm in the area. The staff is always courteous and nice. It's great to see such a nice family business. Thy always make you feel welcome and take the time to help you.

As a small business owner we brought two boxes of chicken from these people and one was bad. Called the same day hours after to inform them that the product was bad. However they said I brought it and there was nothing they would do. They chose to lose my business after years over a box of bad chicken they sold me. Please check everything they sale you before you accept any product they don't stand behind their products.

Unopened, vacuum sealed packages of country ham are shelf stable and don't have to be refrigerated. But in order to extend the freshness and quality it is recommended that they be refrigerated or frozen as soon as possible. Certainly avoid leaving them exposed to warm temperatures and enjoy it by the stamped date on the package.
