After filling out a marriage license online I called because I had some questions about how everything works. The lady on the phone wasn't pleasant and made me feel like I was bothering her. Just very snappy in responses and I was really bothered by that. I've never been married before ( first time) so I had maybe like four five questions. And I still don't have the information I need because she seemed to be annoyed with every question I'd ask, so I didn't bothere even asking the rest of the questions. Bummed out.

Pleasant experience with a gentleman today. Very thorough and helpful in booking an appointment since their website had NO appointments available all the way through 2023!

Very friendly place

The experience was the worst, the chubby lady in the entrance has a problem talking to people.. She hardly answered my question and didn't borrow me a pan to fill out the form.. She had 4 pans in front of her.. Well, customer service - 0! If those people hate their jobs, why don't you hire someone who is happier to work?

I need a certified Copy of my marriage certificate, The marriage was in Brooklyn, Can I go and pick one up
It is a two day process. Questions and paperwork for the licenses on day one.(can be completed online before hand). Marriage ceremony done on the 2nd day. The days do not need to be consecutive days.
Yes you can
You have to do it on the computer try Tuesdays and Wednesdays better.

Ceremony and license are different things. You get your licence without ceremony. You can reschedule you ceremony
I think you need a photo ID, even if its his old, expired passport. Bring all the things you mentioned plus that and you should be fine. Good luck and congratulations!
Due to COVID restrictions, only one person is allowed inside the city clerk office

Yes

I think 3. But you'll be ok, have enough time.
They take cash, credit and debit cards.
Thats a sticky one ,maybe you should get a lawyer for this one.
Okay thank you soo much for letting me know
You do not need an appointment to get married in Brooklyn Marriage Bureau. It is a 2 day process, that can be completed in 10-30 mins tops, for each day. I also suggest showing up before opening time on both occassions. I did the paperwork for the license on one day and a used a second day for the actual ceremony with my witnesses, our IDs' and "photographer". FYI: Fill your form out online before hand. That saved me some time.
Passport, new york state id, license its fine
Marriage License costs $35.
You can always call them you can call 210 Joralemon Street or the one in Manhattan and find out if you could get it
Go on a date... Seriously, Google NYS marriage license. That will get you started.
You can but I would suggest answering the warrant. Being that this is court a document. Names and information go in a database. Well wishes
