I payed for a marraige license but never went to say I do this was 17 yrs ago am I still married? How do I get rid of this problem we have been separated 12 yrs

Because you paid for a license doesn't necessarily mean your married that long ago the application for a license has expired. If you never stood before a clergyman and exchanged vows before him/her chances are your not married. You can always call the county clerk for verification...good luck.
