Seriously. They’re all always too busy and underfunded. How many times do people need to hear the same damn things to comprehend these places aren’t as available as people pushing phone number lists think they are.

I really don't know I just drop off donations to them

I don't work there, I have a few friends staying there. Typically the way it works is you have to submit to drug and alcohol screening, curfew is at 10p.m. and if I'm not mistaken I think they should have a few beds available.

If you have to go there and you're serious about getting on your feet, then you have to fight every urge to 'fit in' with everyone else and instead work your plan to move on; otherwise, you'll get sucked into a downward spiral by very negative, slandering, and hateful people (who pretend to care about you) and get discouraged by a staff that doesn't know the first thing about caring for people.
