Sunset Inn- Yosemite Cabins

Wonderful stay! We rented the Sugar Pine Cabin and this will definitely be our first stop when booking another Yosemite trip. The cabin was awesome, everything we needed for a night in. There’s a BBQ and all the kitchen items you’d need. The bed was cozy, the whole cabin was cute and clean. Plenty of windows and a huge deck with a table for dining as the sun set. (The Sugar Pine Cabin is the end cabin, fantastic view.) Wood burning stove, although we didn’t need to use it. New shower, very nice. The soaps/dish cleaners were brands you’d find at Trader Joe’s/Whole Foods/etc., that was a nice surprise. Organic coffee as well for the morning. The owners were friendly, check-in was a breeze, and Bill gave us a tip on bears that turned out to be spot on. We saw a mama bear and a cub exactly where he said to poke around. Thank you!!!

We had a great stay there! Very special and unique place, beautiful cabins, lovely hosts. Near Yosemite, but a bit apart and in the heart of nature.

Spent 4 nights at Sunset Inn and was extremely pleased. Cabin had everything you could ask for and was extremely clean. It was very secluded, 3 miles from the park entrance. Keep in mind it's about a 45 minute drive to the valley but traffic wasn't too bad if you get at it early. You won't have a problem with that since there are roosters on the property. Was able to hike all day, come back to a nice hot shower and grill out as the sun set. Beware we had no cell service at the cabin and internet was spotty. I would plan to stay again if we went back. Had a wonderful time day-hiking for a few days in Yosemite with my wife and two teen-age daughters. The cabins are excellent quality, comfortable, clean and well equipped. Being right outside the park gate means that you can be most places within the park within 90 mins and some areas in much less time. I would definitely go again.
