I got the notice for my court date, after the court date... no joke. This is after i called to pay my ticket and they said i didn't have one. Absolute joke.

I’ve been trying to reschedule my court date for 2 weeks prior to my court date and no one have answered the phone literally 0 times not even a call or email back . Mecklenburg wants u to miss ur court date so they can give us a free room in there

What is the procedure in order to sue an establishment? In order to sue, does one need to have a lawyer or can one sue without a lawyer? Does the Mecklenburg County provide legal aid to an individual without a lawyer in order to assist with the process? I was wondering the same thing and just found out that 30days after serving your spouse you need to call to set your own court date.
How do I go about filing for full custody of my son..(fyi) the father isn't even on the birth certificate.i am thinking about taking child support on him but was told i might would want to go ahead and file for full custody as well.

You really need to be in court. The victim not showing up results in a lot of cases being dismissed. You can try calling the DA's office to inform someone also.
