Mainline Protestant Christian. The New England Congragationalists merged with the Evangelical and Reformed Church to form the United Church of Christ, UCC, in 1957. Though earlier than this church was built, Jonathan Edwards on July 8, 1741, gave his most famous sermon in Enfield Connecticut; "Sinners in the hands of an angry God." I was baptised at this church.
