Billing scam!!! I did an MRI and the total bill was $1764.00. Insurance adjusted $286.71 for a balance of $1,477.29. After speaking with billing they said they take a 50% reduction in the cost of service if paid at time of procedure! Why would I go through insurance and mainly WHY didn't they tell me this at the time of service. Of course I would take the 50% off and pay at the desk. Now they won't honor the discount and are making me pay the full price. Once again another nitch billing scam that leads to the highest healthcare rates in the universe!!!!
