The tower is used to manufacture high voltage XLPE Cable. The process is called vertical continuous vulcanization where the conductor, conductor screen and insulation are extruded simultaneously. The process ensures that the cable is free of contaminants. The height of the tower is for the curing of the insulation material, cross liked poly ethelyene (XLPE)..
