I've had mixed experience with Princeton Air. We bought our house ~18 years ago. Previous owner had Princeton Air for HVAC needs so we kept it going. They were always very professional and punctual. Then mid 2010's things started to break down. We ended up using Princeton Air to replace pretty much all pieces (furnace, blower, indoor evaporator coil, new zone control and dampers, condensate pump, full outside AC unit - everything but the ducts!). Now we have nothing but problems with the AC in the summer. Every summer we spend some time either without AC or with an extremely poorly working AC (for example it's 80 in our house this morning even though thermostats are set to 70). They can't figure out the issues. "It's your damper system" , "we need a new coil", "need a new blower", "bad connection", "turn off the AC to let the coil unfreeze". Multiple techs have said that "if this doesn't work, we'll get a Lennox engineer involved". Well Princeton Air has been out to my house multiple times every summer (2x in just the last week) to work on my system. I've been reminding them to get a Lennox engineer involved but now they say because of Covid, Lennox engineers won't come. Ok, at least contact Lennox for guidance. Called again yesterday because it was 80 in the house and told that the next appointment is 1 week out but I could get someone after-hours which would cost me "after hours prices". Last week I wanted to speak to the service manager and received his vmail. I left a very frustrated sounding vmail even saying that I would call Lennox myself AND leave an honest (not positive) Google review. It's been over a week and I still have not heard back from him. I just want them to admit they don't know how to fix what they installed and get a Lennox engineer involved to fix it ... and not on my dime! Although the technicians are friendly and courteous, I could never recommend Princeton Air after what I've been through the past handful of years. Update 9/16: Princeton Air was finally here a few weeks ago with a Lennox engineer who reviewed the system, took measurements, etc. The Lennox guy went back to do analysis and shared results with PA. I couldn't find out directly. PA is over today to install their (Lennox) recommendations. They've been here all day rebuilding the venting "the way it should have been done" as one of them said. We'll see how it goes. <fingers crossed>

I have a SANYO HVAC ductless heating system that broke down after 10 years. I called many places to see if they service SANYO, all said they did not, because SANYO had been sold and no longer produced units. I called Princeton Air, and was told that they DO service SANYO. I set up an appointment for a diagnosis, and arranged to be off work. The tech Marty showed up, and told me that he does NOT service SANYO. So I told him that when I set up the appointment, the person told me they DO service SANYO. He said this to me: "They will say anything to book the appointment." "What?" He then told me regardless of what happens there is going to be a house call charge of $100. I told him I didn't feel comfortable paying it, and he shrugged his shoulders. I now get an invoice from Princeton Air every week by email. I called FOUR times to talk to someone to get this resolved, and emailed them to call me to resolve this. No response for months. 4 months later, I finally get a call from them. The woman asked me to pay. When I told her my story, she said they DO service SANYO, and she doubts I'm telling the truth about what the service tech said. I don't like to complain over $100, but it is the principal of this exchange that has pushed me to write this. I feel tricked into booking an appointment fee that gave me no diagnosis, and then I feel upset that they said they didn't believe me about the interaction with their employee. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!!!

During our 45 year history, Princeton Air has invested significant time & money into being able to offer our Clients a “1-stop” purchasing experience, by employing & training the most capable technicians in the area, and being able to control all facets of the products & services our clients demand “in house”, meaning without the use of outside tradesman / professionals, often referred to as “Subcontractors”. However, no matter how hard we have tried, the bottom line is that everyone needs some help some of the time; and rather than continue to expend resources in technical areas that can sometimes require “expert-level” know-how, we have decided to instead developed long term Strategic Alliances with well-known & reputable local industry professionals in some fields “best left to true experts”, such as: Plumbing, large-scale Spray Foam Applications, Mold / Asbestos Remediation, Oil Tank Removals, High-Voltage Electrical Modifications, Chimney Repairs & Liners, and Duct Cleaning.
Absolutely! Our Emergency Service Team is available to take care of our clients whenever the need might arise; every hour of every day, we’ll be there for you.
Yes. Our Gold service maintenance plan covers a multitude of things that typically go wrong with your heating and AC system and includes annual 12-point heating and cooling tune-ups to maximize performance and longevity. Other benefits include a 15% discount on repairs, Loyalty Credits and more. All this for little more than the cost of an annual tune-up. For more comprehensive coverage, we offer the Platinum plan, which includes all of the Gold member benefits as well as 100% parts coverage!
An air conditioning tune-up and inspection will help catch service problems before they get you hot under the collar. Many breakdowns occur on the hottest day of the year—because that’s when your a/c is under the most stress. And because a tune-up ensures that your system will run at peak efficiency, you’ll lower your electric bills. A system that’s running efficiently can save you as much as 30% on your cooling costs. So give us a call to schedule your annual tune up!
Geothermal heat pumps don’t use large amounts of resistance heat so your existing service may be adequate. Generally, a 200-amp service will have enough capacity, and smaller amp services may be large enough in some cases. Your electric utility or contractor can determine your service needs.
Yes, and No. In the home performance industry we talk a lot about low hanging fruit. Through a home assessment, we're looking for things your home does very badly that can be improved easily in addition to more serious home performance concerns. The assessment is essential in highlighting a home's weaknesses and requires an experienced building science professional, armed with the diagnostic tools to do the job right. While the assessment is something you can't do on your own, our technicians will suggest a range of improvement options for your home. Some will be bigger jobs that require the skills, equipment and expertise of home performance professionals, but other jobs might focus more on your home's low hanging issues, which you could potentially improve on your own.
Unless you are both a licensed & experienced Electrician and Master Plumber, Kohler strongly recommends that you choose a local KOHLER Generators dealer like Princeton Air to install your generator.
We can give a ballpark if we have enough information, but it’s hard to determine without physically seeing the equipment.
Split systems can easily be added to existing furnaces for those wishing to have a dual-fuel heating system. Dual-fuel systems use the heat pump as the main heating source and a fossil fuel furnace as a supplement in extremely cold weather if additional heat is needed.
Most of our installations are done in a day and a half, although every job is different and some take longer than others. In extreme weather conditions we usually get your system working the same day.
I'm a piano tuning company not in hbac you should call Princeton are
