Just recently moved into the Philadelphia area in December but realized the home needed extensive waterproofing in the basement upon moving in. Took about 3 days and very happy with the result/price, will be referring to friends and family. Thank you again!

Basement Solutions is one of the best waterproofing contractors serving PA, NJ, DE and MD. Our technicians are trained well and know water. Our sales people aren't just sales trained, they actually understand our service and how to keep water out of your home.
Much of the work our basement waterproofers perform involves fixing failed systems installed by other contractors. Over the past 20+ years, there are a few errors that we consistently see that other contractors perform. We find these errors and correct them...for the last time.
Basements flood when groundwater around the foundation begins to build up. Unfortunately, water builds up in the soils next to your home more than in other areas of the yard. Proper grading, drainage and good quality waterproofing systems keep it out.
Water will leak into your basement anywhere it can, including around stairs, through cracks, and from old, rusty windows. Our experts can determine the best plan of action to keep it outside.
Most definitely. Most of our work comes from referrals, so you may know them already. Call them. We can provide you with references and will gladly do so.
Your water discharge should be at minimum 36 inches away from the basement, we recommend going as far away as your landscape will accommodate
Absolutely! In most cases, an outside system will be more expensive, and many obstaclescan obstruct this type of install. However, it is the best approach, for a long lasting, waterproof system.
If you have a poured basement, nine out of ten times it can be addressed in that specific location byaddressing a crack. If you have a block wall, you will most likely need a system installed.
This is the preferred order: An automatic switch- over natural gas or propane generator is always the best bet. Battery back-ups, or water back-ups, are effective, but we only be recommended if a generator is not possible.
A waterproofing system is all about how much capacity the system can move. The pump size will be determined by several factors. Our experts will insure you install the proper size pump.
Sump pumps are sized by horsepower. What is important is volume of water moved per/hour. This will be affected by several items in your installation. The length of the discharge pipe and the height from the basement to ground level where it will need to be pumped.
Any contractor that has been in the business for a significant period of time (like us 20+ years)and has done hundreds of installs, has had a failure at some point. This isn't bad and it happens. Water is a formidable opponent. When speaking with the contractor, ask them how they handle the situation. What you want to hear is; Yes, I have had a failure. Let me explain what caused it, and how we addressed it, so it wouldn't happen again.
