Love this place. As a person with celiac disease it's always great to find somewhere I can eat safely. Almost everything here can be made gluten free!💕💕💕 Only suggestion I would make is please bring back the onion rings! Having gf onion rings was awesome and they were so delicious!

(Septemper 20, 2022) If I couldput ZERO stars that's exactlt what this place would get!!! My son had just left an appointment with his plastic surgeon, he found out his stitches are healing well after being bitten by a dog, he wanted to go out for lunch since the past week has been crazy. We opted for Grill Marks (Gervais St.) since it was near the Dr. Office. I walked in with my son who is 3, and we stood at the door for approx 10 minutes, there was a guy server who seemed busy, a bartender who I later found was the manager just looking at me behind the bar, and 2 female servers who were not busy at all, but glanced at us as we stood there. I had no idea we sat ourselves as there was no indicator. 1 female server comes up to us and seats us and then hurries off, once again not busy. We sat for about 5-10 minutes and no one comes over, even though all 3 servers are now gathered at the host stand, I guess discussing who is gonma come up to greet us, when an elderly white couple walks in, gets immediately sat, and their order taken from one of the female servers who ignored us. I believe I overheard her name as Kendall. The busy guy server reluctantly comes over to us, instead of the other females who had not been doing anything, and I inform him that I would rather just leave. I will never spend a penny in this establishment. I spoke with the manager who also saw me walk in and not get greeted, and he seemed to not care at all. I work service industry and I am well aware of the faces, and looks of prejudices. I came to Chicago pizza instead where I type this now, and I was sat, greeted and had my order taken and drinks delivered within 5 minutes. Save yourself from having to feel unwanted, do NOT eat at Grill Marks unless you want to feel judged and made unwelcomed.

This was my absolutely last time going to this place! Call me insane because I've literally been there 3 times and each time experienced the same poor customer service or should I say lack there of. When you walk in there's absolutely no one to greet or seat you. If you happen to see a waiter they look past you and never acknowledge guests. A simple "I'll be right with you" was apparently not part of their training. After waiting to be seated for literally 15 minutes, I seated myself at the bar. I tell you no lie there might have been 6 people total in the place. It took over an hour for my food to come out and it was cold! The manager on duty apologized and took 50% off my meal. The apology was worthless because every time I've tried to give this place another try it's been the same experience. A party of at least 10 or more guests walked out due to no one greeting or coming out the back to seat them. WHERE IS THE HOSTESS?? This place seriously needs John Taffer from Bar Rescue to save it, because the food isn't half bad.
