I called yesterday to see if I could bring clothes and a bassinet. They said yes. Said nothing about their rules. Well when I went in there the service was awful. The ladies that took the clothes etc were so rude. And I overall did not have a good experience.

I used to love this store would come from florence it always had good use clothing. And best sales. But it just changed owners .Just got back from the sale there was nothing worth getting, no quality items and zero name brands. No boutique either, won't be back. Sad it got so bad so fast....

I use to sell my things at once upon a child all the time. But then I ended up just donating my daughter clothes. I did a clean out of her closet and decided to sell her items first. I decided to take my thing first thing in the morning instead of late in the day. Why? Because some employees get tired at the end of the day and be over it, they may get some bad customers that just set the rest of the day bad and at the end of the day I feel like they’ll rush through the items. So I decided to go first thing in the morning. New day fresh start. Well I had a bin and a tote and as I was coming to the kiosk a worker slid in front to type something on the kiosk she told me we only buy back one bin. I’m caught off guard bc I didn’t get a good morning or welcome to Once upon a child. So I was thrown off a bit. Again I didn’t know the buy back changed bc I would bring several bins but it’s ok that things change that’s life but it’s the way you approach ppl and say it. It is not like she stopped, gave me eye contact she was saying all this while hurrying in front of me to use the kiosk. The rest of the employees were really friendly and nice. I was satisfied with the buy back partly but the reasoning they passed back on some of items were questionable bc a few items were brand new with tags. But it’s ok it’s their choice. I read the reviews prior and wow a lot speaks about customer service and that’s a easy fix. If you don’t want to work there then don’t not everyone is meant to work and deal with customers everyday. I pray that you think and ask yourself would you want someone to talk and treat you the way you do to your customers.

As I come here out of town to visit my family, I never knew what once upon a child was. My first and all experiences were amazing. The clothes are so organized by size it makes it so simple to find stuff. All these rude reviews are just crazy. I can understand it gets overwhelming but with all the organizing the associates have to do it’s not always going to be perfect. Maybe some “Karen’s” need to calm down. Everything I visit here I’m always impressed and can find so much for my kids.
