The inside of the building is very clean and the people working there were so helpful, loved it.

As far as I know, yes it is true but to make sure call them at the phone number listed here, go over there in person or visit their website. In this way, you can also make an appointment for whatever your cat needs. Good luck!
I would suggest that you go directly to the shelter and speak to someone at the front counter, call them or go to their website for more information.
Hi are the kitties still available?I'm definitely interested in taking both
I am not sure how much they charge for shots here but I suggest that you go speak to someone from the reception desk personally, call them at the number they have here or check their website for more information.
I am not really sure to tell you the hard truth but I suggest that you go to this facility in person and speak to an animal care technician at the front counter because only they can answer all your questions with accuracy and precision. Good luck!
I believe that the right dog will come to you eventually. You just have to out it out there. like you have done here. but if your main concern for the dog is that it's free and you want it to be for the purpose of relief from anxiety associated to your PTSD. you night want to think it over and do some research into the type of dog that would be best suited for you because unless your ready... dogs can be a source of anxiety if you don't care for them properly feeding, fresh water, attention and excercise and proper health care and visits to the vet are the basics for having a happy dog for a happy you. I wish you luck and I would check out the community section on Craigslist and PAWS and the local animal shelter. rescue a dog from being put down and that dog will love you and make you feel secure and help with your PTSD. I am not a doctor or a vet or anything like that but I know dogs and I would get rid of it he word free and replace it with rescue or service or shelter.
As a general rule, these institutions allow you to adopt any day of the week as long as you do it during normal business hours. Gut it wouldn't hurt if you go to the front counter of this facility and ask someone for sure. Good luck to you and I hope that you find the pet of your dreams very soon!
Go on their website. They have puppies that are being fostered. You will have to fill out an adoption form and if approved then you can look to adopt a puppy. Good luck.
It is more about adopting then buying. You may want to ask them how mivh
You may want to go in and ask them.
Give a call make arrangements, let them know your situation these are good people
No
Yes. I did it that way.
I think you would have to pay from $20.00 to $125.00 for the spay and nuter surgery, but to make sure I am giving you the correct answer I strongly suggest that you go to this facility in person on Tuesday because they might close tomorrow. and ask someone at the front counter about the vouchers for this surgery. Don't forget to take an identification with you such as your driver's license and a bill from the gas company or from the department of water and power to see if you qualify for this discount. You can try calling them tomorrow at the number listed here on the map or go to their website if you want. But I strongly advise that you go over their in person so that they can explain everything to you in more detail. Good luck!
Check local food banks? They often accept pet food too
I'm not sure they do puppies in this particular site, mostly cats, unless there's an adoption event. For adoptions cost you can visit their website for more info.
Hi - we are not a boarding facility. Your veterinarian may have recommendations for where the dogs could be boarded while you move. There are several reputable providers in the area. Good luck! (And this particular PAWS location only houses cats for adoption, but we have many dogs looking for loving homes. They are located in our main shelter and in foster homes. Please visit phillypaws.org/adopt/dogs to see them!)
Is this kitten still available
No but if you call them they can give you resources
Yes there's an adoption fee. Their prices are online. All animals come spayed/neutered with all vaccines etc. You also have to apply for adoption. They don't give animals to just anyone.
You should call first...most shelters are full in philly .
We are! Please visit phillypaws.org/volunteer to get started. Thank you!
That the rule or another option is to move to another where they accepted it, or surrender her to some friends or family they lover her, in that place they give to another person that you don't know but her gone be good
I don't know you should call them there are bird places there is a place in Medford nj Called woodford animal rescue I have taken lots of animals there
Yes of course. It cost money to vaccinate and fix these animals. A fee paid also indicates that you are serious about getting an animal. A free to good home cat usually ends up being used as bait in dog fighting rings, target practice for guns etc. Paws gets no Federal, State, or local funding it's all run on donations. So when you pay an adoption fee it helps save other animals.
Call the Paws adoption center
They might b able to find u a foster home. They don't have that type of housing for pets.
Have you contacted Paws? If not call one of their offices they have a couple in Philly. And go on their website to see if any are being fostered. Good luck on your soon to be Fur Baby.
Don't know contact them
I'm pretty sure that you have to be at least 18 years old to volunteer. However, I would check the website just to be sure. PAWS might have special opportunities available for younger people interested in volunteering I might not know of.
Can you ask the person who gave you your dog? Where you could take them to the vet and see what they can tell you
The website should have more information (phillypaws.org) regarding adoption. But you're welcome to call and ask a staff member about picking up a cat you'd like to adopt.
No, they are not a rescue. Do not surrender to ACCT as they are a kill shelter.
https://phillypaws.org/adopt/ Fill out an application here. Or you can go in and fill one out in person. Tell them which animal you're looking to adopt. Process takes about 3/4 days and someone will call you.
It means they will be euthanized if no one adopts them.
Yes
No, sorry you will be asked to sign him over to us so that we can find him a new home.
Go to paws wellness center 29th and grey's feery ave.
Can I have them?
Do you still have it? Can I keep it
No. Most shelters do not have special breed cats. You should reconsider buying a Siamese--they have a handful of health issues and it's better animals not suffer just because someone wants a cat bred to have a certain look.
I have 3 kittens that I feed on my porch the mom left them I think can anyone help or does anybody want them one or something it’s cold out trying to help them
The will at least steer you to the correct place. There may be rescue groups for your pup.
Go ask them
Definitely check with any local cat rescues. I'm not sure what is in your area..
If u access the PAWS website, you can find the anwers you seek regarding price and application process. I don't , work or volunteer at PAWS myself. For out of state adoptions , I'd suggest contacting them directly via phone or email.
Yes
No. They do have cats and dogs for adoption.
No try a doggie daycare
Trying to ask a question, but keeps coming up as answers. The female black in white cat in the photo, is she yours? I don't understand why her picture has your name same as others pics posted.
Please call and speak to a staff. The staff doesnt check this
No dogs are sold. They can be adopted against a nominal donation which covers their spay/neuter surgery , vaccinations. And you can check the website - all adoptable dogs are listed there. www.phillypaws.org
Do you have adoption of cats and what is the procedure I have to go through to adopt a cat
I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure the application is only valid for 30 or 60 days. I would give them a call to check.
You can take them to paws, but be sure they are actually house cats before taking them in for adoption... If they are afraid of humans they may be outdoors cats who should be taken in for neutering and returned to their environment when done
No Paws in Grays Ferry location do
Where you live i will take it
How much to get a dog fix
Take him to the Spca they can find the cat a great home
They won't declaw, and a lot of places won't any more because of how it affects the cats. I'm just some dude on the internet, but my advice is: 1) try getting anti-scratching spray and spray it on the spots they claw at 2) getting scratching posts/scratching pads near the things they scratch. 3) trimming their nails regularly (sometimes a major battle)
Sometimes, though I would recommend keeping an open mind about adopting an older cat
If you need to surrender your dog, please call PAWS directly
