There is a reason people hate United States medical care, as everyone on this Google review board has noted in one way or another for this place. I was five minutes late after my 15-minute grace period. I'm a first-time patient here and they turned me away. I wasn't informed there was traffic down the street to their place, making me later. I wasn't sure where to sign in, and BAM by the time I come up to the desk, I was turned away. I drove 25 minutes. Let me tell you, 25 minutes is A LOT of gas money at this time. I needed to refill my prescriptions and all they could offer me was a visit a month out. That is not possible for me. I will not return even though my insurance only allows Wake Forest Baptist. I've seen enough. Thank you.

Made an apt for sinus infection online w/ Dr. Wang, when I arrived I was told that I would have to sit in my car, wait for call, then told Dr. refused to see me, I could be a hazard to their safety!, I asked what about my safety? I’m at high risk sitting out here for severe asthma. After they couldn’t confirm if any tests or vitals would be taken I refused to talk on the phone to doctor and be charged $hundreds. I was told I could go across the hall to the walk-in clinic but I would have to come back inside to sign in, after I signed in I was sent back to the hot parking lot were I had a severe asthma attack & allergic reaction to the heat while waiting for another call to allow me to come back and wait outside the locked doors to be escorted inside. I made it less than half way and got worse, I had to seek shelter under a shade of tree to again use my inhaler. A nurse leaving seen me and offered help. I finally made it inside still having difficulty breathing and chest pains and hives. My BP was elevated & O2 was low, I tested negative for Covid and Flu (fully vaccinated for both & stay isolated). The PA asked me what meds I needed, I told her and that was it. Because my file showed I have a long history of acute sinus infections. 2 hours later I got to go home, worse off than when I got there. My dogs vet is more compassionate and willing to do their job. You become a doctor, knowing the risks because you are suppose to help people. Not my 1st problem with this staff. They just take your money. My regular Dr Zapata has waiting for months to get in.

Not even last place to go. I was seen by Meghan Webb, who did not even checked things that I know they should do for every yearly physical exam! Moreover, despite of they said, i would not be new patient, they end up charging for that, saying somebody answered me wrong, well that was a nurse working there. They are there just to rob your money, and not providing any service. Worst medical place ever came across!

Atrium health wake forest baptist is a very caring place to go, every one there from the time you walk in the door, are there to help you. very attentive and helpful. i wouldn't go any where else
