you left my friend confused disoriented half naked outside -u dropped him at the gas station like an unwanted animal. the video from the ambulance proves how heartless and judgmental medical personnel is ! u can hear their comments towards an innocent person with mental health issues. Paul was the kindness person u can ever met in your life, always smiling kind and polite to others. He was my friend- full of life. U need to improve not only working ethics but human kindness. its animal act prosecution u have done .

How can you think or write positive comments to a team that let's people with mental health challenges not be properly assessed, treated and take care of with dignity and respect. More importantly leave a person in a distressed emotional and physical state on the side of a road..........to die. What did they think would happen---sorry that wasn't thinking it was ignorance on their part (as well as others, EMT/Paramedics, Hospital). The treatment of our friend and brother Paul Tarashuk was deplorable. There's too much ignorance and bias in the thin blue line. Their negligence is the reason Paul died. If it had been a civilian that did what he did, the civilian would be charged with criminal negligence, yet to date the officer and others have faced no consequences. CHANGE is Needed! Treat, Assess, Provide Safety for All.

We can do property checks. To set up a property check, call dispatch at 803-534-3550.
At this time, we are not due to safety precautions. When this changes, we will make a notification on our Facebook page.
It is legal for a property owner to have cameras on their own property, no matter which way they are pointed. An example is well-known personalities who have walls built on their property to prevent any exposure to photographers, etc.
Call sheriff office 5343550
The Orangeburg County Magistrate's Office will have a copy of that. They are located at 1540 Ellis Avenue just past the Law Enforcement Complex.
Monday through Friday, the front office is open at 8:30 a.m.
The process seems simple but there's a lot of work involved. First, apply with an agency. If accepted, you'll be sent to a criminal justice academy. If that is completed successfully, you'll return to your agency for in-house training. Once completed, you'll then be placed with a field trainer, who will ride with you for several weeks. From here, policy may change for the agency with whom you're associated. There is more training at this juncture with our agency. This is the simple explanation. But I hope it helps.
This is typically a Highway Patrol issue if it's taking place on a public roadway. However, call either one of us - SCHP or the OCSO. We are at 534-3550, day or night.
Unfortunately, it may depend on the type of noise. If a construction crew is doing work next door, it may be completely legal. However, if there is loud music from a neighbor or passing vehicle, there may be something that can be done. Call and ask for a deputy at 803-534-3550.
