EXCELLENT SERVICE!!!! I showed up without an appointment today and was warmly welcomed by the security guard. He was very helpful getting me oriented to the process of registration, which took less than a minute. I was called to the service window in less than five minutes where I met Ms. Bull. She was extremely efficient and effective and she was equally as pleasant as she was helpful. Ms Bull will do anything within her power to assist you and get you taken care of. I believe the in-person reviews on Google indicate the positive aspects of the Orangeburg SSA office. The more negative reviews seem to revolve around phone issues. Having said that, following my in-person visit today, I had one more question that I had not asked so I called the office. I did have a short hold but even so, it was only eight minutes for the hold AND my time on the phone with the representative. I have only the highest respect and appreciation for this branch of the SSA.

I don't understand why they have bad reviews. I never have a problem with getting the information I need from them. I appreciate their help.

I don’t understand the bad reviews bc I had a good experience dropping my documents off, was helped by the nicest security guard, and then had a follow up call with yet another nice person Mrs. T… (not going to disclose) and am very grateful for their prompt help. Thank y’all.
