I was in agreement to purchase a home that they were building. There was several delays and the projected close date kept being pushed back. I understand that this was during covid, however, my problem is that they really didn't seem to care. It was always our end that was asking for updates. One of the last updates we got from them is that the septic tanks were on the property and they just needed to be put in. Now mind you, the house is already done at this point. The very last thing was the septic tanks. That's all they had to do. Weeks went by and nothing. They did absolutely nothing. I will not believe that it takes weeks to decide where to put some tanks. They finally gave us the option to terminate the contract which we gladly did. Their customer service is absolutely terrible. They don't care about you. I can't decide if their motto should be, "McGuinn Homes, we don't care out our customers, only about their money", or, "With McGuinn, you will get the McGuinn guarantee of terrible customer service". Avoid.
