Dont go here. Avoid if all possible. Husband awoke at 4am with severe abdominal pain and vomiting. The pain increased severely and he was extremely nauseous and unable to eat or drink. They did nothing other than touch his stomach, give him some nausea pills (that he threw up 10min after they gave it to him) said it was a stomach bug and sent him home. A few hours pass by and things are getting increasingly worse so i take him to unity hospital. They immediately did blood work and a ct. He had appendicitis that needed surgery. Regions failed to take his complaint seriously, and that could have jeopardized his life if we would have listened to them.

The nurses were the only highlight of my visit and I get the feeling that they’re treated absolutely poorly. I’d feel for them if I wasn’t so concerned about my own experience from hell. These doctors are pompous, arrogant, lazy and rude. I was left in a room alone for hours (with chest pains, mind you), nearly forced to take tests I didn’t understand and spoken down to. I only live 12 minutes away, but in case of another emergency, I’ll make the hike to Saint Louis Park before returning. Truly hope they’re not treating others like this.

While I can say the hospital is staffed by knowledgeable individuals, I cannot speak well of their quality of service. My wife suffers from severe depression and anxiety, but is not allowed to have someone with her while she is in the hospital. Tonight is the second time this has happened. The last time was in March and she was here for nearly a week by herself, only able to communicate by phone. It took several days to help her recover from that experience of being completely alone, stressed, depressed, several panic attacks, and feeling like her mental health needs were being ignored. Now she is in the emergency room having multiple tests done and I'm again being told that she is not allowed to have anyone with her because "we can handle that." I promise, you can't handle it as well as someone who has been helping her through those issues for seven years. You are creating a mental health crisis. I'm going to have to clean up after you. I wish I could say that you truly care about your patients, but that is clearly not the case. Shame on you.

There has been a COVID vaccine clinic onsite at Regions during the last 2 weeks. I'm not sure what the qualifications are to be able to get a vaccine at their site, but it may be worth inquiring. From what I could tell, the vaccine recipients were all elderly patients.
What are Visiting hours
They have waiting rooms and areas for families to sit in the hallways. They also have couches in the rooms for someone to sleep on. They were very helpful and nice when our whole family was there for my dad in intensive care.
For family it's anytime.. my dad was on 5th floor ICU south building n I would go at 1 or 2 in the morning n visit but u have to have an ID cause they take a picture n give u a name tag ..

You sort of have to plan it out and order your food before the cafeteria closes. The delivery of the food takes an hour-hour and a half....so ordering before you are hungry is the best way! If you plan ahead, it works seamlessly, and we always thought it was really nice having food delivered to our room. Let's you focus on what's important!
No, there is no child care available.

That is a question for your nursing staff and the patient. Regions tries to honor patients wishes and needs all while keeping the the patients care as their first priority. All in all there is always exceptions and they can work with you just speak with your care team. Hope this helps.
There is South 9 (S9) that is a medical care floor. Central 9100 & 9300 are more rehabilitation units.
