Our family's experience was horrible from the initial meeting and on the day of service. Marcus Reid was and is very unprofessional by answering phone calls during our scheduled meeting and not catering to our family's needs during a time when he should be compassionate and sympathetic to our time of grief. He answered our questions as if we were bothering him and his answers were very short and we had to pry for basic information concerning ANYTHING about the services the funeral home offered. Actually, Marcus Reid didn't offer our family services that would have relieved some stress and would have increased profits for his business. On the day of service, we arrived while another service was in progress and the piano for our pianist to use was unplugged and missing a key. Thank God she's a great pianist, because she played the organ that was in the chapel though we informed Marcus that we would like to use the piano. The ushers were also late to their posts for duty. They did a wonderful job on my mother's husband's makeup and facial look. Even after the service, they were late on the cremation process and first of all they cremated his gold necklace and wedding ring that was written in the contract to return to my mother. When they finally called to pick up his ashes, Marcus Reid treated my mother with no remorse for their actions and when I called to speak with him, he asked if he could call me back because he was with a client. I told him that I did mind because he answered several phone calls during my family's meeting. He immediately put me on hold but I didn't stay on the phone because I wanted to respect the family he was dealing with. He returned my call and tried to explain that he doesn't read the contract where it stated what items the family would like returned off the deceased. I asked if the person performing the cremation reads the paperwork and he informed me that "their protocol" is that he verbally informs the individual that's performing the cremation of the items. He gets another call and asks me to hold on but I didn't. From my family's experience and the lack of remorse and bull***t spewing from his lips, I know something is terribly wrong with him and/or this business. He told my mother and I that they cremated the necklace, they will look for the ring, but didn't cremate his prescription glasses. Marcus Reid, get yourself and your business in order.

Usually visit when our family member passed away. They look great inside and they always make the deceased look lovely and well-dressed.

Very disorganizing, I live three hours away from Augusta and have heard and read how nasty and insensitive the people that run this business is. Then to go there with my fiancée and this man stand there act ignorant and in my opinion unprofessional after being told toward different on my father in law burial situation on the phone, I would never in my life use them for my family and make sure to tell anybody else to use somebody different. Get better insurance so you can go to a more professional funeral home cause this one here is a dam joke!!!!
