Typically a good family place, this visit was mediocre. There was plenty of seating and no wait on a busy Sunday afternoon. The food was tasty, and drinks were cold. I'm aware finding good work is hard these days; adjusting for that, there's still room to improve. We waited for a good portion of our visit for our first round of drinks. Also, kids' food came out fast but was dropped off without giving us any silverware or napkins. A good part of our visit was waiting for things, which is tough with impatient kids. Staff was friendly, just slow. If we were not at the mercy of ravenous children and were able to go without drinks for a while, I would have given 4 stars.

Wasn't busy at all but still waited at the front for 15 minutes to get seated. Two more parties of two came in after us, one of them was addressed AND served before we were even acknowledged. AFTER we reviewed the menu and the waitress brought our drinks, we ordered the fish and chips and was then told they didn't have that. She did the same thing to the other party. During Lent, you are out of fish? We ended up with burgers that were supposed to have BBQ on them, I sure didn't taste any. I also asked for a dill spear on the side of which they put pickle chips on my burger, so they don't understand directions either. Big disappointment as we hardly ever get out, mom is 75 and all I wanted to do was treat her. Next time I'll take her somewhere else. I'm easy going but this left us both wishing we'd just stayed home. Update; their customer service department isn't any better. They responded to my original post and asked me to email them so they could "make it right", 2 weeks with no response. I wouldn't give you one star if I didn't have to.

What an enjoyable experience. We shopped all day and were looking for a restaurant we saw some time back but couldn't remember the name. It might have closed due to covid. As we were looking we went into the Hamilton Center to find some place to eat. We saw Red Robin on the search for restaurants map. Found it. Got right in and we were not disappointed our server was Jury with the emphasis on the "ry". She was outstanding. We got the fried pickles for appetizer. No picture, they didn't last long enough. I got the Royal burger, my wife got the tavern burger with no bun. My daughter got the Soutbern Charm burger. We all got the steak fries. Note: the burgers actually look like the pictures. Smell and taste better though.

The burgers are great, everything else; like the service and the restrooms are very poor. There was a 40 minute wait when we went to eat inside. The bench we sat on felt sticky, upon inspection it was held together with old duck tape of a similar colour. Forget their endless items, they didnt come back even for a second portion. Restroom needed cleaning, bins overflowing, taps running. Staff not at all attentive. Not like red robins we have been to in the past. They would be better to close this branch than offer this level of service, they are ruining their reputation.
