We were here last week and returned again this week with another couple for a beautiful outing. We purchased the Red Haven both times and they are absolutely perfect! Juicy and Delicious..We were also able to enjoy Customer Appreciation day at Okaw Valley Orchards. We were there early enough there weren't too many people yet. We were able to get our purchase of peaches and enjoy some fresh donuts, and just sit at the picnic table to enjoy each other's company. The orchards look like they are well-kept and orderly. They have a great playground area and have plenty of field trips for the school kids.

Typically yes, but we are not able to do public u-pick this year or next year. We are in a transition period at the orchard for the next three years. Fruit trees that were originally planted in the 1980's have to be replaced. We are replanting sections of the orchard with U-Pick and future varieties in mind. Due to this transition period we will have limited U-Pick availability. We prioritize school tour U-Pick because many of the students may never even visit an orchard or farm and we want to help the next generation make the important connections about where fruit comes from. Watch Facebook for updates about public U-Pick availability. If we are able, we will do a limited amount of public U-Pick on specific weekends. Apples are available prepicked on the shelves in the store.
