These are just good people. I brought my boat to them with a problem that they thought they solved. I picked it up a week later and took it to the water to find that it wasn't fixed. I called and they had me bring it straight back to them. I thought I was going to drop it off, but no. They worked tirelessly to chase down the problem with my bass boat (it turned out to be two unrelated problems) for hours without an appointment and got me back on the water. Chatted with me and made me feel at home and even listened patiently to my dumb-customer suggestions. They have done all of my work and maintenance for several years now and not only are they fantastic mechanics, they are just outstanding people that I like to visit with.

All the marinas are closed on Sundays except for Chip’s. When I spun a prop on my boat, I was fortunate to have found his shop. Not only did he have a replacement part that fit, but he also kindly let me borrow a tool to put the prop on with. I highly recommend Chips Marine. Will definitely give him my business in the future.
