My company only rents out spaces for us to park out equipment, but other than that the actual company that runs the show there is not exactly up to par

I did enjoy the job and working for Western Express for a while. My DM was Leemon Wilson, he was good at his job. My truck was in good shape, my miles were consistent and I often got layover or breakdown pay when applicable. After a while I began to feel used and abused. They stopped getting me home and started jerking me around. There were times when I needed to be home and had given the requested notice to my DM but then they would try to keep me running. When I tried to contact my DM he would just be gone in some unspecified way. The California terminal is awful. No showers, good luck even finding somewhere to park your truck.

If you plan on getting a job here make sure you get anything your recruiter promises in writing (email) you don't want to waste your time. Be very careful. Especially if you are from the west coast because all there recruiters are in Tennessee and they know they will never have to deal with you in person. (They only run the 11 western states unless you do Flatbed.)

Service dept is great. Get you in as soon as they can here in CALIFORNIA. Service technicians do a great job in going over your truck. Brian does an awesome job when working on my truck. Thanks Brian..... Keep up the great job, in helping keep us drivers safe out on the road....

Because most of the people they hire have previous offenses and a criminal history..therefore they can pull the timeless bait and switch because most of these people have trouble getting hired elsewhere..its all a scam!
What happened?
If you got a good record they'll take you.
Lee, it looks like your last trucking job only verified for two months OTR, but you put on your application you worked there for 3 months. If they verified a full 3 months, you wouldn't have had to go out with a trainer.
You don't start making anything till you go with trainer, then it's 98 a day while training
Well depends on where you park, if its a Pilot, Flying J, Loves or TA you're gonna be fine, but some random truck stop in bigger city's I would probably avoid. As for showers, I get one like every 3 days or so usually at a pilot/flying J just cuz thats Western Express's main fuel source.
No, you may run solo if you choose. They encourage you to do teams. Everyone makes more that way
Yes, as long as you have no symptoms.
I made 450 a week. I liked it there. I live in an out of the way place, so I couldn't really get home time.
Mario, it depends on where you live. Give your DM a shout to see if you qualify!
No tenesee
I have multiple felonies, and they hired me. They paid about 450$take home every week while I was training . I was with trainer less than 3 weeks.
I had to redo my physical even though it was valid (only three months old) but it was provided free of charge I think it is only for the people From California
