Very horrible. Do not waste your time and energy dealing with these people. The dispatcher attitude is extremely nasty. And she will not hesitate to lie to you to get you off of the phone. City of Charleston is a big joke all around. It's not only Animal Control, the whole county staff needs to be looked at.

You mine as well take things into your own hands when you witness an animal being abused because they didn’t do nothing at all to help this poor dog being abused. They took the owners word for it, which were lies…sucks animals can’t speak for themselves. They didn’t even seem to care…smh

If City of Charleston Animal Control does not remove a stray cat from a property, what is the job that they do? I called and the dispatcher was nice but then nobody came. Instead, I have a call from a City of Charleston “Animal Control” officer to tell me that they don’t do that job. I have to trap the cat by myself and take it to the shelter. Again, what is the job that they do? This is unbelievable!!
