Several of our lamp shades were ruined in a recent move to Charlotte from Richmond; others were just old and worn. I went to The Lamp Place needing 6 new shades. I did not take lamps, just measurements and photos. The woman who helped me was wonderful. She knew exactly what I needed. A perfect store!

This Store Says Affordable Prices. I Called Them About Floor Lamps. And They Told Me The Lowest Floor Lamp Was $100 And The Highest Price Floor Lamp Was Up To $300. That Is Affordable For People With Lots Of Money. But Not Affordable For People On Low Or Limited Income.

This place is amazing! I came in with a lamp that I was not sure how to assemble (purchased from a different company). I was prepared to leave it there for assembly, and pay for the work. Instead the staff helped me assemble the lamp right then and there, and refused to let me pay for their time. It's not easy to find a business so kind and dedicated these days.

We wear masks, use sanitizer and have a forehead thermometer if needed. We are asking for only 10 people in the front showroom and the rest to social distance in the back showroom

No, Sorry we buy from different designers and build our own. A lot of customers will bring in their lamps to have them rewired safely to resell online or in a consignment store, but we don't buy them.
We do not stock any outdoor shades. We can special order them, but it would be best to call the store and get your options. There is a difference between weather proof and water proof. They can make the new frame and there are three colors to choose from ...White, Beige and Egg. They are designed to go on a covered porch. We also have solar powered table lamps and floor lamps in stock (704) 523-7463
We are not a parts store, but do carry some parts to preform our repairs. We have sockets with hickeys attached and some that are loose. for the availability of these items or others please contact our store during working hours ... Tuesdays through Saturdays 10-5
Yes we have a very big selection to choose from and we get in new items in the The Lamp Place showroom all the time. We also have catalogs you can choose from if you need a specialty item.
We are not a parts store, but we have parts to repair all types of lamps from Table lamps, Floor lamps, Chandeliers, and other wall and ceiling fixtures. We may have a particular item in stock or we might be able to special order it.
At the Lamp Place the basic lamp cord rewire is $14, chandelier is based on its size since some can be large, the base charge is $35. If you stop with the chandler they can give you an estimate.
