If I could give negative stars i would. ED staff were incredibly rude. I informed them that I have autism and serious sensory issues. I informed the staff if they wanted to do a NP swab that I would need to be held down. The staff then proceeded to call me a child several times as which point I became upset and was told "being abusive to staff" and my only option at that point was to sign myself out AMA. I was brought in for syncope and had collapsed I my kitchen. I had no choice but to sign the order and leave on foot in the middle of the night without a coat in sub zero weather. I am fortunate that I came across a sheriff's deputy who made arrangements to have me taken to Dickinson County hospital where I am receiving the necessary treatment. The deputy asked me if I had a death wish going to that hospital. If your life is important, DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL.

I've gone there for years and never,never had a problem. They treat my afflictions with care and expertise that I feel can only be found in a small town hospital. But don't be fooled,they have an excellent crew of helicopter medics,that will have you to any major hospital in an hour or less. Overall,a great place in my book!!Thank you for the kind words! I sat in a wheelchair for 2 hours in the waiting room of the ER. I have severe back problems and couldn't get in with my dr. All I seen was the cars go by from the ER waiting room window. I couldn't sit there anymore and left. No trash around for my tissue from crying in pain.
