I have shopped at all of the bigger Asian marts in the area. This is my favorite. I come here for all of my Filipino ingredients. I love their section of cookware and kitchen utensils. The prices are better than H-Mart but they have more variety than the Grand Asia Mart. When I lived in Durham I would shop here weekly. Now I only come every couple of months because of the distance.

IF fresh fish is your goal, Li Ming is the place to go from the Carrboro and Chapel Hill and Durham communities. They go through volumes of fish which assures us that their offerings stay fresh. AND if you have not done so this is a goto grocer to try some different produce. Exotic fruits and variety abound. 4 types of bock-coy, really fresh bean sprouts, mushrooms (it is mushroom heaven). One of my favorite sections is the HOT SAUCES! A couple times a year I try something different. My list of favorites keeps on growing, yours will to.

By my memory they had a couple. Usually they are either as you enter or near exit.
They usually have more than one type of banana there. But I'm not 💯 they are burro, ice cream or apple bananas. It's worth checking out as your trip to discover is they carry burros will undoubtedly discover other culinary treasures
