How long can a adjuster hold on to a case before there's a final demand from lawyers? My case has been sitting on someone's desk I'm having real financial crises literally.

wayne Manigault | Sep 24, 2019
DeMayo Law Offices, LLP | Sep 24, 2019

There is no time limit for an adjuster to respond to a demand. It is very common for insurance companies to delay responding to a demand. The most common reasons insurance companies give for delay are “further investigation is needed,” “a claims committee is reviewing for authority to settle,” or “additional medical records or bills are needed.” Sometimes insurance companies will request several years of prior/past medical history and hire an expert medical examiner to review the medical records. If you are in urgent need, your attorney can file a lawsuit, but sometimes filing a lawsuit will result in longer delays and more expenses.

This is a question for an attorney not a question about the place itself on google...but code enforcement can come on your property but not in your house!

I had a MRI with contrast back at the end of April after experiencing a slight complication from surgery. When I was injected with contrast it burned as it went into my muscle. I am not even sure if the Dr put the if in correctly.
