Yeah they should charge out of states or make a deal with the powder mill barn. You can back door It by going in the scantic river west trail

The barn is private property and doesn't allow public parking. They used to, but it was abused in the past and the family decided to disallow it. My guess would be the messes being left behind by people, as well as opening them up to liability issues since they wouldn't be able to control activities being done on the premises when they're not there. Parking time limits have been discussed, but unfortunately, it would be nearly impossible to enforce.
