Many times with my 1 year old cat when I been in very tough situations they tried there best to see my cat in a emergency and I would always refer this place I been going there a year now and over they are great and they where very good even when my cat got spayed with them. Fostering is part of volunteering if you don't have time I understand but taking animals into your home especially kittens. You definitely need timeyou are more than welcome to call their number is on there homepage. You can call the number it is on their homepage and they can explain what it entails ☺️

oh I am so sorry...have you called the Dutchess County SPCA? Definitely call HVARS and see if they can take him. It's a holiday so you may not reach anyone till Wednesday but call them after 9am and they will get back to you. I pray all works out for you...
You can divvy them up and give them to different animal shelters, or you can ask HVARS if they are connected with any breed specific rescues
Better bring to a Vet...they will give you the best advice
